The Article THE TEMPORARY AUTONOMOUS ZONE talks is quite dense and hard to understand. My understanding of the reading is that in theory there are these small spaces or zones that people can make or find were there are no governing laws. Once you are at your temporary autonomous zone you are truly free. Today these free zones are more of a dream due to new technology such as satellites....unless yours was underground (although i have a feeling the government would still know). I think the article was saying that the web today serves as a place through which information can be traveled and stored. The internet is a place were someone can make a virtual temporary autonomous zone. This ties into the freedom of knowledge and what is legally allowed to be put on the web compared to what is actually put on the web. In general the idea of a TAZ in this article is very very vague. They do not go into much detail of how to make one or what one in theory should actually look like. Several examples are given in the article although they are all a couple hundred years ago, before every bit of land was governed by some sort of law.
