This opening to a book starts out by talking about September 11 and the world trade attacks and how court cases looked at the attacks, one plot? or two crashes. This articles main subject is semantics or logical meanings of words (i guess). The book then goes into looking at different ways of looking at that single event (or series of events). These events are all changed by time and space. The article then goes into somewhat of a grammar lesson and then William Shakespeare. This is all wrapped up by talking about names and the significance they hold for a person. The article when stated as i did looks all over the place, but actually its rather orderly and put together nicely.....unlike this shit storm.

Michael Ray Charles
Michael Ray Charles art revolves around the touchy subject of race and how it was and is viewed. He mainly works with plays off of old negative propaganda images of black people and questions them in his own work.

David Carson - Design
This is another TED talks and it is with Davis Carson. This is a more recent one and he goes over some experiences he has had, some short stories and alot of posters and such (some that he has made and some that he has not) This was just looking at some work and talking about what worked and what didn't within the advertisements and poster.
Milton Glaser - Making ideas New through design
This 15 minute TED talks was with a Designer Milton Glaser. He talked about several posters or projects he had to do in the past and what approach he took to them and the process of coming up with the final product (extremely abbreviated) I found this highly interesting mainly because my intended major is Graphic design, even though i know nothing about it. I liked many of his ideas, especially the last one which had the quote Art is Whatever.
